Diagnostic department

Today’s Department of Diagnostics with Therapy has modern computerized devices for complete neurophysiological and urodynamic tests and is one of the most modern in the country. An average of 1,000 patients is examined annually in this department. In the Department of Clinical Diagnostics, patients are treated by the Clinics, but also by “external” patients, who are referred to by other healthcare institutions and certain patients who need diagnostic procedures.

The Department of Diagnostics with Therapy has a cabinet of neurophysiological diagnostics, a cardiovascular, respiratory and peripheral vascular diagnostic cabinet, a psychiatric diagnostic cabinet, a cabinet for defectology diagnostics and therapy, a laboratory for clinical, biochemical diagnostics. Neurophysiological diagnosis is performed in three basic areas, ie three professional procedures are performed: electroencephalography, electromyography and urodiagnostics. For urodiagnostics, a complicated and costly apparatus is used that can test the flow of urine, perform cystometry, determine the urethral pressure profile, and perform cystometry with electromyography. Cardiovascular diagnosis includes ECG, Color Doppler echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and Dopler peripheral blood vessels. The cabinet also has a modern central osteodensitomera apparatus. The diagnosis of patients at the Rehabilitation Clinic “Dr Miroslav Zotović” is followed by the health condition, that is, the function of muscles, urinary bladder, electrical activity of the brain, bone density, and other.
