Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is performed in six separate units: physiotherapy block “A” departments (cerebrovascular diseases); physiotherapy block “B” of the department (injuries and diseases of the spine); physiotherapy block “C” department (vertebrology and rheumatology); physiotherapy block “D” of the department (children’s pathology); physiotherapeutic block in building work therapy (ambulatory – polyclinic patients); physiotherapeutic block in a building intended for therapy – large physio hall (internal trauma patients and rheumatology). Physiotherapeutic blocks are suitably equipped according to the needs of patients: tables, strings, breaks, Swedish ladders, static bicycles, trainers, oscillating tables, stairs, suspension frames, traction frames, small props, and in children’s sports props and functional toys. Recreational activities with elements of sports and games are also carried out in the halls. Sport, as a unity of physical activity and emotional satisfaction, was organized on the dedicated terrain in the Clinic Park. In all mentioned physiotherapy units, the methodology is unique and is carried out individually and, if necessary, grouped. The plan of work is delivered by the doctor of physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists and is carried out with constant communication between physicians and physiotherapists. All changes made during the treatment are registered with appropriate tests, in the form of adopted forms and reports, and they are attached to the medical records.

An important work segment is the assessment of working ability, which is done for patients in the outpatient clinic and the patients of the Clinic after the completion of hospital treatment.
